多施設共同研究ネットワーク：
SARSの検査を行っている研究施設

以下のWHOネットワークに属する研究施設は、自国にPCR技術やBSL-3（biosafety level 3）などの必要な機能を持った研究施設がない国の、SARSの「疑い例」、「可能性」の患者検体の検査を行う事を承諾している。WHOはそれぞれの国に対して、SARSの可能性がある患者検体を検査したり、国外へ送付を行ったりする研究施設を、国家レベルで選定するように奨励している。患者検体の採取、取り扱い、送付に関する説明は、アメリカの疾病対策予防センターのウエッブサイト（Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)）を参照すること。
